Becoming A Member of the WVGMA
REQUIREMENTS:
The WVGMA requires that all members be either a Pastor, Church or Artist / Group, unless operating in some other capacity that pertains to the promotion of Gospel music.
All applications for membership are subject to review & approval by the WVGMA Board of Directors.
A standard of conduct is required. All members are a representation of the WVGMA & as such are required to maintain a Christlike example to others.
All members are expected to profess an unfaltering devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ & to the spreading of the Gospel through music.
Artsits / Groups are guaranteed at least one booking request per year. We make every attempt to book our groups as many times as possible throughout the year, but can only guarantee one.
FEES:
As of April, 2011 there is a $50.00 per year fee for membership in the WVGMA.

FINANCIAL COMPENSATION:
As of April, 2011 artists/groups participating in any WVGMA regular monthly sing (There is no financial compensation for "Open Sings".) will be guaranteed compensation in the amount of $50.00 per group/artist.
The WVGMA is a non-profit organization & operates only to promote Gospel music in West Virginia & surrounding areas. We do not operate for the purpose of profit.
OUT OF STATE ARTISTS:
When possible the WVGMA will assist out of state artists at their request, in aquiring a church on a love offering basis for the same weekend of the WVGMA concert they are scheduled for, to help with their traveling expenses.
